Tech Spotlight: Fast Forward Stories

Content marketing is a huge buzz word, but it's often misunderstood. On top of being misunderstood it's a lot of work to create interesting and engaging content. This article should help with both of those challenges.

For the record, here is my definition of content marketing: When a business or individual (real estate agents being both) creates or shares informative and useful information relevant to their area of expertise. This content will demonstrate the expertise and passion they have in their particular field. The goal in doing this is to attract new customers and/or referrals.

One of BreakthroughBroker.com's newest affiliate partners is Fast Forward Stories. When we met owner Matthew Dunn—who is a pretty cool dude on top of being a Ph.D.—and looked at what he has created for real estate agents, we knew Fast Forward Stories was a good fit for BreakthroughBroker.com.

So what is it? Fast Forward Stories has created a huge library consisting of hundreds of short videos about real estate. These videos are designed to do exactly what I've defined as content marketing. They are relevant and informative on a variety of real estate specific topics. Watch these two videos and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

So unless you've been living under a rock, you've also heard that video marketing is huge. Personally we agree with that sentiment. The trouble is that video can be time-intensive and costly to produce. That being said, in our opinion Fast Forward Stories accomplishes two goals: content marketing and video marketing.

Here are a couple more key points about Fast Forward Stories:

  1. When you subscribe they personalize the videos with your branding and contact information.
  2. If you're looking to step up your social media marketing and website content this could be a good option.
  3. Pssst ... they give away a free video right on their website, which you can download.
